Daily focused and intentional movement allows students to become as holistically strong and flexible as they can possibly be, both preventing and healing injuries and illness. 

A short home practice creates a dependable foundation of correct posture and physical and emotional strength aiding in the prevention of injuries and melancholy. At the initial visit, together we create a sustainable program, and continue to check in on an as-needed basis: weekly, monthly or even yearly as students stabilize. 

Adding the two elements of breath and focus to physical movement creates extremely high levels of compliance and success, allowing students to meet their highest potential.

Trained at The Healing Yoga Foundation in Movement Therapy, Jennifer Durand (E-RYT 500; pre and post natal certified, Judith Lasater) has been teaching the therapeutic applications of yoga for over 25 years. She also includes many other modalities of healing in her session, incorporating sound, scent, oracle cards, poetry, art, food and tea as needed.
