The Tea & Yoga Society was founded in 1997 by a group of women attending Jennifer Durand’s classes. Seeking more connection and depth, the "regulars" began meeting after class once a week. This led to customized movement practices, the study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, engaging conversations and the creation of some darn good chai.
Jennifer’s unique classes are taught in a comfortable and small studio space that allows her to seamlessly integrate several different aspects of yoga– asana (movement), pranayama (breathing exercises), and philosophy– into one accessible lesson. This approach benefits body, breath and mind.
Classes are good-natured and non-competitive.
