Yoga Sutra Study

The goal of yoga is to feel better. Through our studies we learn to let go of what gets in the way of our practice. Our practice, in turn, gives us the ability to stay independent from external agitations and creates a deeper connection to our own essence, that “thing” that makes us light up from within. Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras never get boring, when we get to the end, we go right back to the beginning…and begin again.

Private Practice

It's no longer necessary to live nearby or travel to SF to study with Jennifer!  By phone, Zoom or FaceTime, you can learn the proper pronunciation and word by word translation of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra.  Useful to both students and teachers, you'll learn to apply the wisdom and lessons of yoga philosophy to daily life.

For those new to yoga philosophy, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali make up a guidebook to help us navigate life's challenges.  Having a strong and flexible body is one of the wonderful effects of yoga, but it is by no means the whole story, or even the main goal. Without delving into the sutra-s, many of the benefits of yoga are lost, and the real goal of yoga cannot be understood or attained.  So jump in, and begin to live with more comfort, conviction and clarity.
